Came across this US newspaper article about the benefits of gaming, which I basically agree with and can vouch for from personal experience in terms of both my own childhood, and that of those with whom I've had the pleasure of sharing their growing up most closely. Most recent games we've played here are all Card related games - Munchkins, Guilotine, Pass the Bomb.
